In addition, the summit will:
Initiate visionary and influential youth action plans.
Organize global youth exhibition, exchange and tour activities.
Facilitate and participate in the 2024 WAFI activities.
IV. Application Criteria
The summit is open to students (including undergraduate and postgraduate students) from universities and research institutions worldwide who specialize in agricultural fields or have a strong interest in the agrifood system. Applicants should meet the following requirements:
Having received awards for research achievements or outstanding project
experience in the field of agrifood innovation.
Having had experience attending international conferences or other conferences of the same level
Both English and Chinese are the official working languages of the Summit. Application materials, discussions, and forum presentations must be in English.
The selected attendees are required to deliver an 8-10-minute theme presentation or project demonstration on related topics, and participate in various activities arranged by WAFI and the summit.
V. Application
The application needs to be filled in English and submitted no later than June 30, 2024 (24:00 Beijing time) via the online questionnaire or by email. Duplicate submission is not accepted.

About World Agrifood Innovation (WAFI) Conference
WAFI is a world-class international venue for agrifood innovations, held annually in Beijing, China, under the theme of "Innovating Agrifood, Sharing Future." The conference is hosted by China Agricultural University, Pinggu District People's Government of Beijing, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, the Consultative Group on International Agricultural Research (CGIAR) and World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
