WAFI Season: China-Algeria Tech Innovation Enterprise Exchange Meeting Successfully Held in Beijing

The 2025 World AgriFood Innovation Conference (WAFI) will be held from October 12 to 15 in Pinggu, Beijing, China. As a global platform for innovation cooperation and one of the world’s top three agricultural events, WAFI leverages its extensive network spanning research institutions, leading enterprises, and international organizations. It continuously drives technology transfer and industry alignment, injecting innovative momentum into the sustainable development of the global agri-food sector. Through a series of activities—including Global Agrifood Innovation Roadshow, WAFI Dialogue, and initiatives like "WAFI Bridges China and Brazil" and "WAFI Bridges China and Saudi"—WAFI has built a global ecosystem synergizing "technology, capital and industry". This turns "laboratory innovations" into tangible agricultural productivity, while continuously enhancing the resilience of global agrifood supply chains. These regular, cross-border activities allow WAFI to transcend the time and space constraints of its "four-day flagship event", transforming it into an "everlasting" global agricultural innovation accelerator that offers year-round showcases and collaboration channels for innovation entities worldwide.

On July 30, 2025, as part of WAFI Season, the "China-Algeria Tech Innovation Enterprise Exchange Meeting" was successfully held at the DBN Phoenix International Innovation Park in Beijing. Co-hosted by WAFI and DBN Phoenix International Innovation Park, the event focused on agricultural technology and green development, aiming to deepen understanding and cooperation between Chinese and Algerian enterprises. Attendees included Wahiba AHBAB-ZEINO, Diplomatic Attaché of the Algerian Embassy in China, Mo Hailong, Vice President of DBN Group, and representatives from nearly 50 tech innovation enterprises.
