The 2023 World Agrifood Innovation (WAFI) Conference officially calls for sideline events from all over the world. WAFI welcomes all relevant governmental, non-governmental and intergovernmental organizations, enterprises, public institutions and individuals to organize sideline events. The theme of the events shall be in line with the purpose of WAFI, which is "Innovating Agrifood and Sharing Future", and the organizing committee of WAFI will provide relevant support and services.

I. How to write an application for a sideline event?

1. Personal/organizational information, including but not limited to name, address, city, country and contact information.

2. The theme of the sideline event you are applying to organize.

3. Select a preferred time slot you wish to hold your sideline event and indicate whether you agree your selection shall be subject to the approval of the organizing committee. The time slots include: 13:30-17:30, Friday, November 3; 19:00-21:00, Friday, November 3; and 09:00-12:00, Saturday, November 4.

4. Indicate the size of the event.

5. Organizational plan for the sideline event (In no more than 500 words, please clearly describe the content, format, and desired goals of the event).

II. What will we provide?

1. We will provide a well-decorated venue (the event area is about 120 square meters).

2. We will provide projectors, microphones, sound systems and other equipment.

3. We will provide refreshments and beverages, etc. (If you wish to introduce any sponsors, please communicate with the organizing committee in advance. Only foods that meet the certain standards can be admitted).

4. We will arrange someone to document the content and results of the meeting.

5. We will provide accommodation and meals for the participants during the conference.

III How to Apply & Deadline

1. The deadline for application to organize sideline events is 24 p.m., October 10, 2023;

3. Sideline events approved by the Organizing Committee shall be formally recognized in writing within 5 working days.

4. The Organizing Committee shall introduce and promote all officially approved sideline events in advance on the WeChat public account and the official website of WAFI.
